Senhora do Cabo

A family home in the Serra da Arrábida, restored into somewhere to stay slowly. Our work was to let it speak the way it does in person — quietly.

Senhora do Cabo sits close to Meco, less than an hour from Lisbon, inside the Serra da Arrábida Natural Park. Ten rooms, one villa with private pool, two hectares of land. Rustic on purpose. The kind of house that took years of care to feel this uncalculated.

We came to shoot for social. Days on the property, moving through it the way guests do — mornings in the courtyards, afternoons in the rooms, breakfast smells still on the table. Photography and film that captured what the space already knows how to do: hold you.

The brief was human warmth. The specific calm of a place that isn't performing. We translated into images and short films what happens between the arrival and the leaving — light through windows, hands at breakfast, the quiet of the trees. Content for a place that isn't in a rush.
